Attorney Fernando L. Bedevia


Fernando Bedevia has been practicing law in West Michigan for over 34 years, the past 20 of which have been in Holland. Fernando was born in Cuba and is fluent in Spanish. He takes pride in representing many other Latinos who call West Michigan home. Fernando handles both civil and criminal cases including family law matters, personal injuries, Workers’ Disability Compensation, Social Security disability, as well as misdemeanor and felony matters. He assists many parties in resolving legal difficulties, both as an advocate and as a court-appointed mediator.

Fernando is a member of the Ottawa County Bar Association, having previously served on the Board of Directors, and the Michigan Bar Association. He is a past president of the Board of Directors of Legal Aid of Western Michigan and Michigan Migrant Legal Assistance Project. Fernando has also served in leadership roles on the boards of directors of numerous nonprofit community-based organizations.
